Video slate image reads, "A side by side comparison of drop down animations of the Washington DC area. The left most image uses the L7 panchromatic band 8 with 15 meter resolution to sharpen bands 1, 2, and 3 each at 30 meter resolution. This is accomplished by replacing the intensity value of the true color image with an intensity value generated from the panchromatic band. Thus sharpening the image to a better resoution. The right most image is the true color image of the exact animation combining bands 3, 2, and 1 in an rgb format".
