Chillin with Paige
Land Ice with ICESat-2 Deputy Project Scientist Denis Felikson
Music: "Think Things Out," Universal Production Music
Around the world, ice sheets are melting at a rate fast enough to fill four Olympic-sized swimming pools every second. Over the last 20 years, that meltwater has raised global sea levels by about half an inch.
This animation was made by SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) students through a partnership between NASA’s ICESat-2 mission and SCAD.
