Hubble Captures Destruction of Worlds
NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has captured a rare and violent event unfolding around the nearby star Fomalhaut—an apparent collision between two large bodies in a distant planetary system.
This discovery sheds light on the chaotic processes that may have shaped our own solar system billions of years ago.
With support from both Hubble and the James Webb Space Telescope, astronomers are now closely monitoring the aftermath.
