The James Webb Space Telescope is three stories tall, as wide as a tennis court. It's got a 21-foot primary mirror and then it's got these 4 instruments that are just incredibly powerful. It's the largest, most technologically challenging space telescope ever created. It's one hundred times more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope but at half the weight. It's designed to look back in time even further than Hubble to see the very first galaxies to form after the Big Bang.
