Output from NASA’s ocean model, ECCO-2 (Estimating the Circulation and Climate of the Ocean), is used here to visualize global ocean currents between 2021-2023. The model incorporates observations from spacecraft, buoys, and other in situ measurements to help scientists better understand complex ocean dynamics.
