A New Era in Ocean Science 

An exciting new chapter of ocean science awaits thanks to two NASA missions: Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) and Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE). Each spacecraft will enhance our understanding of Earth's oceans in their own right, but the scientific community is also excited by the prospect of integrating the physical science of SWOT and the biological science of PACE. Together, the two missions will enable researchers to investigate Earth's hydrosphere with more precision and depth than ever before.
