            "description": "SWOT Sea Surface Height Anomaly  This visualization illustrates global Sea Surface Height Anomaly (SSHA) over the oceans and Water Surface Elevation (WSE) on land, as observed by the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite during its inaugural science orbit. The SSHA displayed in the animation is derived from along-track high-pass-filtered SWOT SSH data, which effectively removes long-wavelength errors and large-scale ocean signals. SWOT provides detailed measurements of water elevations across various global water bodies, including open and coastal oceans, rivers, and lakes, making it a true global all-water mission.
