Carr Fire

Landsat acquired views of Northern California shortly before and near the end of the devastating Carr Fire, which burned more than 200000 acres.
This pair of Landsat images shows the region on July 10, 2018 and on August 27, 2018 using the shortwave infrared, near-infrared bands and green bands to show healthy vegetation in green and reveal areas burned by the fire in red.
