Ever wonder where in the world we get the most extreme rainfall (and how we know)? Or if climate change is going to cause more frequent and intense hurricanes?

NASA scientists and engineers, Dalia Kirschbaum, Scott Braun, and Jamie Pawloski had a live discussion on Facebook about how they study extreme weather from space. Viewers got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Global Precipitation Measurement Mission Operations Center and were also able to ask the scientists questions.

The Facebook Live event was held on June 23, 2016 at 1.00pm ET.
