Advising them were Dr. Hans-Peter Marshall of Boise State University and Dr. Lora Koenig of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
GROVER, the Goddard Remotely Operated Vehicle for Exploration and Research, was designed by students at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Two of those students from Boise State University working with NASA's Lora Koenig took GROVER to Greenland for testing and to study snow accumulation from May to June 2013.
