It became a tropical depression on October 7th, intesifying into a hurricane by October 8th. It made landfall on October 10th. GPM caught the storm after it had weakened back down to a Tropical Storm on October 11th. But even in a weakened state, Michael still caused flash floods and power outages throughout the Carolinas.",
