Star Trackers Light the Way

The Autonomous Star Trackers provide attitude data and motion rate of the satellite. They are based on a radiation hardened design and proprietary algorithms that ensure accurate and robust 3-axes attitude determination. These same instruments most recently flew onboard NASA's Messenger and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter missions. For complete transcript, click here.
