Title: Lunar Topography From the Clementine Mission
|
|
Abstract: The Clementine spacecraft mapped the entire lunar surface over several months in 1994. A three-dimensional view of the data provides a detailed portrait of the rocky landscape. Heights are exaggerated seven times to allow closer study. This simulated flyover shows the dramatic topography of many ancient basins.
