Title: Ocean Planet
Abstract: This video contains a short visualization of an underwater fly-by in Hawaii. It was created for the Ocean Planet exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution. Starting from space, the fly-by approaches the Earth and then travels underwater following the ocean floor topography, passing boats, sea life, and submarines in the process. The animation then resurfaces above the water and travels back into space.

*Please note: the SVS does not fulfill requests for copies of the tapes in our library. On some of our animation pages, there is a direct link to a video distribution service from which tapes, handled by the Public Affairs Office (PAO)/Goddard TV, including some of our animations may be ordered. General information on this service can be found here.
