Rising carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere are driving changes in Earth’s climate. But scientists are still trying to answer important questions about how carbon dioxide emissions get absorbed by the land and the ocean — and how this could change in the future.

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Annmarie Eldering shares how the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 is helping answer these questions on a global scale.
